Intro to SMP is free, and every student completes it first: Fundamentals and the Masterclass open once it is done.
Intro to SMP (free) is modules 1 to 3. SMP Fundamentals adds modules 4 to 10: hair loss, who you can treat, hygiene, the law, the consultation, tools and design, practiced at home with Vlad's review of your work. The SMP Masterclass adds modules 11 to 16: the technique on practice skin, the treatment day, healing and complications, then supervised clients in the clinic until every skill is signed off.
Each lesson is a video with a short reading and a quiz. You need 80% or more on the quiz to complete the lesson and open the next one, and each module ends with a test.
Yes. The academy, the lessons and the quizzes are available in English and in Canadian French. You choose your language in your settings.
Yes. The online lessons work on a phone, a tablet or a computer.
In the Masterclass. You first practice the technique on practice skin and mannequin heads, then treat real clients in the clinic under Vlad's supervision.
There are 20 practical skills. Vlad reviews your practice work for the Fundamentals skills, and in the Masterclass he signs off all 20 in person.
No. It is a certificate of completion from Rico Clinic Academy. It is not a licence, a government permit or an accreditation.
The rules differ by city and province, so check what applies where you will work before you treat anyone. The course covers hygiene and infection control, consent, records and privacy, and the equipment you need.
Intro to SMP is free. SMP Fundamentals is CAD 3,495 and The SMP Masterclass CAD 7,495, plus GST/QST.
Yes. What you paid for Fundamentals is credited toward the Masterclass, and your progress carries over.
